Gravity-Flow Water System Completed in Hangu

In the rugged hills of Hangu, we are proud to announce the completion of a massive gravity-flow water scheme. This project involved tapping into a permanent mountain spring and constructing 5 kilometers of pipeline to bring water down to three previously neglected villages. The system now provides a reliable, 24/7 supply of fresh spring water to over 300 households without the need for expensive electricity or pumps.

The construction process was a true community effort, with local men and youth volunteering their labor to dig trenches through rocky terrain. Our engineers provided the technical design and supervision, ensuring the pipeline was buried deep enough to protect it from landslides and extreme weather. We also built a central distribution tank with high-capacity storage to ensure the water supply remains consistent even during dry spells.

For the women of Hangu, this project is life-changing. Instead of spending hours every day trekking up hills to fetch water, they now have community taps right at their doorsteps.
